KLØVERBYEN STUDENT VILLAGE

A great project that unfortunately was halted due to material prices rising 50-100% from Nov. 2021. We worked on this student village project for a couple of years in 2020 and 2021 and got it all the way through the municipality and in the media. We even got to do the first prototype module placed onsite, but due to unforeseen circumstances during and post the Covid pandemic the project had to stop.

A project and a site that could actually accommodate first 600 students, then 300 and in the end 168 pax due to municipality legislation. In close proximity to the Copenhagen city center, this student village would have become on of the largest in the city. A city that has been lacking proper student housing for more than 20-30 years. Calculated to a lack of around 60.000 student homes, at least, in Copenhagen, only 5-6000 have been build in that period.
